Robert Grant is a subject matter expert in project finance with a distinguished track record across the telecommunications, power, oil & gas, and mining sectors. He has successfully led complex, cross-border transactions throughout Africa, with deep on-the-ground experience in Nigeria and Ghana.

As Managing Director at Quoin Advisors, Robert leads the origination and execution of transactions in the critical minerals and rare earths space. He specializes in structuring financing solutions using U.S. Government instruments—including those from the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim), Department of Energy (DOE), and Department of Defense (DOD)—to support strategic projects across the value chain, from resource extraction to advanced processing.

His banking career includes senior roles at Cresco Global (Senior Associate, West Africa coverage), FCMB Capital Markets (SVP, origination and structuring of award-winning transactions), Vodafone Ghana (Chief Financial Officer), Lucent Technologies (VP, Vendor Finance Group), and TD Securities (VP, Syndications Team).

Robert holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
